My sister Jenna and I went concert-going again Tuesday night, where we pranced about at the front of the stage, sang loudly in each other’s ears, and I drank a lot of beer to no tremendous effect. I hate beer.

But yeah, we saw Langhorne Slim again :]

So what’s of note?

That he sang “Colette,” got especially hilarious with his mid-song storytelling, that I trolled a former best friend of Jenna’s present at the show who became a total dick to her over the past few years, and that I got to meet and shake hands with the opening band’s trumpet player who was totally hot and I was definitely maybe flirting with. His name was Charlie. I think we had a moment and could of had more—that he held onto my hand a little too long. Jenna can tell you if I was simply delusional (I’m slow to pick up on flirtations), but… unf. Charlie.

Langhorne Slim is so great I can’t articulate it. When Jayme and I saw him this past winter, he was so adorable and charming. He draped his arm around Jayme when he came out to the crowd! And he gave her a hug after the show! So yeah, he’s really the best.

Also posting this because it was apparently filmed in my city? I just now noticed this! And that’s really cool!

This is a thing that is most true, people! That is, Langhorne is awesome, true, and I was the only one randomly singled out for a hug when he decided to roam about the crowd… TRUE!  I also received another hug after the show for simply telling him about how special I felt for getting the hug in the first place :] Gosh, it was the best night <3

Also, this was made in town? Woah. Now I’m even more pleased :D
